Looking for an Accounting Professional to manage bookkeeping and other office functions. The position offers a flexible work environment, competitive salary and opportunities for advancement.
What’s the role:
- Prepare and process biweekly payroll
- Accounts Payable and Receivable processing
- Responsible for employee files, new hires, terminations and vacation schedule
- Remittances of GST/HST, EHT, WSIB and Source deductions
- Prepare, reconcile and remit T4’s, Summary and ROE’s
- Assist in preparation of monthly and annual statements
- Filing & record maintenance
- Responsible for CAD and USD credit card statements and reconciliation
- Prepare travel arrangements and monitor expenses
- Create and maintain project cost summary reports
Qualifications
- Full Cycle Accounting experience
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented with learning flexibility
- Minimum 5 years AP/AR and Payroll experience
- Sage Accounting Software savvy
- Strong data entry skills to ensure accuracy
- English fluency required both verbal and written
- Related Business degree or diploma an asset or relevant work experience
- Fluent with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Work independently and in a team oriented environment
