Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for accuracy. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct full cycle bookkeeping, including GL account maintenance, cash and bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and inter-company and sales reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payables efficiently and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Record journal entries accurately to reflect financial transactions.
- Prepare and file monthly HST/GST and WSIB remittances in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle payroll preparation and maintain payroll records, along with related government remittances.
- Provide support in taxation, payroll, and financial reporting tasks.
- Prepare necessary financial documents, such as Records of Employment (ROE), for government agencies and organizational needs.
We Expect You to Have:
- A College Diploma or University Degree or higher diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in roles such as bookkeeper, staff accountant, or relevant positions.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Ceridian Payroll software.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- An eagerness to learn and adapt within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin are must-have

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
