Who We’re Seeking to Join Our Team:
The successful candidate ideally holds a Bachelor's or Associate Degreein accounting, finance, or related field, and a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and experienced accountant with a strong understanding of multi-currency transactions and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
What Success Looks Like in this Role:
This position is responsible for a wide variety of finance related tasks that are primarily associated with processing, verifying, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable invoices.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Processing all accounts payable invoices (multi-currency)
- Reconciling and recording employee expenses and credit cards
- preparing payment runs and logging payments onto the bank
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Processing all global accounts receivable invoices
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices
- Coordinating with vendors and clients
- Preparing journal entries as needed
- Supporting business in ERP transition
- Support Accounting Manager and Financial Controller with audit request
- Maintain filing system for accounting documents
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Associate Degreein accounting, finance, or related
- At least two to three years of experience in accounts payable and receivable
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- Experience working with multi-currency
- Thriving in a team environment
Key Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial records and transactions is critical
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate reports is important for making informed decisions and improving processes
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and advanced Excel skills are necessary for managing and analyzing financial data
- Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to resolve discrepancies and handle complex financial issues efficiently is crucial
- Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks and deadlines requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Adaptability: The ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, such as automation in AP/AR functions, is increasingly important
- Ethical Judgement and Integrity: Maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring compliance with financial regulations is fundamental
