We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our operations, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role involves managing various accounting functions and requires proficiency in accounting software. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in maintaining smooth office operations and supporting the finance department.
Duties
- Assist with accounts payable and payroll processing to ensure timely payments and accurate employee compensation.
- Perform bank reconciliation and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks for data entry, reporting, and financial tracking.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and assist in preparing financial statements.
- Support the finance team with various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and clients regarding payments and account status.
- Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role within an office environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software, including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
