The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with established accounting principles and company policies. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, processing invoices, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.
Responsibilities:
Account Reconciliation: Conduct thorough and accurate reconciliations of various financial accounts to ensure precision in financial reporting.
Financial Reporting: Generate insightful financial reports, statements, and summaries to support informed decision-making by management.
Invoice Processing: Efficiently manage the processing of invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Month-end and Year-end Close: Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and implement updates as necessary.
Collaboration: Work closely with other finance team members, providing support and contributing to the department's overall success.
Audit Support: Assist in both internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as required.

Confidentiality: Demonstrate judgement, discretion, and confidentiality, while handling sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
CPA designation or actively working towards CPA designation is preferred.
Experience with general ledger systems preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and data analytics.
Detail-oriented and deadline driven with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high quality work.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
1-3 years' working experience using flexibility, initiative, good judgement and discretion with a pride of ownership over assigned responsibilities.
1-3 years' experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced and dynamic professional environment.
