We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential for supporting our financial operations and providing insightful analysis to help drive business decisions. This position is a permanent, part time position offering flexible hours.
Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Conduct bank reconciliation to verify the accuracy of bank statements against company records.
- Utilize accounting software (Sage) for bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately.
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely processing of employee compensation.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Administration duties such as answering phones, filing, supply orders
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and payroll processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills
