Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent data entry skills, and proficiency in accounting software. Please be aware that the position will require to work with two companies in the group.

Responsibilities

Process and verify invoices for payment in a timely manner.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payments.
Assist with payroll processing as needed.
Support the finance team with data entry tasks and ensure all records are up-to-date.
Utilize accounting software including PBS and Lightspeed for various financial transactions. .
Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities as required.
Assist with month end procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with accounting software such as PBS and Lightspeed or similar platforms is preferred.
Knowledge of payroll systems.
Strong data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.
Experience in human resources functions is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Education

Accounting diploma or 3-5 years experience in an accounting role.
