Job Description: HR Generalist & Payroll Administrator
We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist & Payroll Administrator with general experience in human resources and payroll admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in HR, especially within a warehouse or similar environment, and will play a key role in supporting and implementing new processes and policies.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Support the review process for new roles and responsibilities within the company.
- Implement and update HR policies and procedures to align with best practices.
- Provide HR support in a warehouse environment or similar setting, addressing employee relations, onboarding, and training.
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries from staff.
Payroll:
- Prepare and process weekly payroll for 15 salaried employees and 40 hourly staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of payroll, including adjustments and deductions.
- Prepare Records of Employment (ROEs) and T4s as needed.
- Generate and submit government payroll reports and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HR and payroll functions.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, processes, and best practices.
- Ability to implement new processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in preparing payroll, ROEs, T4s, and government reporting.
