Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and human resources practices, as well as proficiency in various accounting software.
Duties
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to payroll and accounts payable.
- Utilize software such as ADP, PeopleSoft, Workday, QuickBooks, or Ceridian for payroll processing and account reconciliation.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns promptly.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports related to payroll processes.

Experience
- Proven experience in payroll administration or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices is essential.
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems and payroll software (ADP, PeopleSoft, Workday, QuickBooks, Ceridian).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus.
