124 On Queen Hotel & Spa. is looking for an Accounting & Payroll Clerk to join us at our head office in Niagara.
Overview
The Accounting & Payroll Clerk position provides exposure to a wide variety of tasks including accounting, payroll, administration, and human resource functions. This is a supporting role with an opportunity to develop skills on all aspects on the business.
Basic Functions
- Process bi-weekly payroll for between 175-275 employees.
- Accounting support for group sales and corporate functions
- Support the Bookkeeping function for a small, related group of companies.
- Account reconciliations.
- Maintain HR records and administer Employee Benefits and Pension Plan.
- Filing invoices and other documents.
- Other accounting duties as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent accounting experience.
- 1 year of payroll experience
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Office software.
- Experience with Quickbooks would be considered an asset
- Diploma in Accounting or Payroll
- Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
