Position:
We are looking for a
Junior Bookkeeper to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Finance and Administration, you have a passion for organization, love numbers, and have a keen eye for detail. There is an opportunity for advancement in this position.
During the summer months, there may be some occasional travel required.
Our ideal candidate:

- Technically savvy using multiple software applications in conjunction with Microsoft Office.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and numeracy skills.
- Reliability and flexibility to travel to our resorts when required.
- Professional and mature demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Excellent time management and a strong ability to prioritize work when under pressure.
- Positive contributor to the office environment.
Skills and experience required:
- Experience working in a role requiring confidentiality.
- Familiarity with the general principles of accounting.
- Minimum 2 + years of bookkeeping experience (with QBO preferably).
- Accurate and timely data entry skills.
- Experience working as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
You will:
- Accurately record financial transactions.
- Maintain the general ledger and subsidiary accounts to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
- Reconcile bank, credit card and benefit accounts.
- Complete weekly payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and expenses.
- Complete payroll functions when required.
- Travel monthly to the resorts for physical inventory counts, when required.
- Support general office operations and working environment of Head Office.
Compensation:
This is a permanent year-round position with a competitive annual salary of $55,000 - $60,000.
Schedule:
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Monday to Friday
