Your new company
Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a real estate investment firm located in Oakville, ON. We are looking to hire a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a contract basis of 3 - 12 months, which has the possibility of extension. This candidate will be working from their Oakville Office on a part time basis.
Your new role
- Process biweekly payroll for 90 employees, with hours tracked through timesheets.
- Distribute payroll stubs to the controller for further distribution.
- Handle HST and GST filing.
- Manage group benefits reporting.
- Draft employee letters as needed.
- Update and maintain employee contact information.
- Perform general administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll administration in Ontario.
- Proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce (mandatory).
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLookups, Sums, Formulas, and Macros.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a paper-based environment with no digitalization.
- PCP certification is not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
