Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator to assist with the day-to-day operations of our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate administration, accounting, and property maintenance. This role requires excellent customer service skills, solid negotiation abilities, and proficiency in managing tenant relationships and financial aspects of property management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication.
- Lease Administration: Assist with the preparation, review, and management of lease documents and signage.
- Financial Management: Oversee tenant finance operations including reconciliations, Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges, and Accounts Receivable (AR) collections.
- Budget and Expense Monitoring: Monitor budgets, control expenses, and assist with property tax administration.
- Property Maintenance: Manage paperwork related to property maintenance, address tenant concerns, oversee annual contracts, and coordinate preventative maintenance efforts.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and other stakeholders.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle disputes and conflicts with diplomacy and effective problem-solving skills.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth property management operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate administration, 2 years of accounting experience, and 2 years of property maintenance experience.
- Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficient in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle tasks with diplomacy.
- Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with budget monitoring and expense control.
- Knowledge of property tax administration.
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices.
