Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Involvement in the preparation of working papers and financial statements at the compilation level
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
- Preparation of tax slips (T3, T4, T4A, T5)
- Providing assistance to clients with bookkeeping tasks
Key Requirements
- Post secondary education in accounting
- Experience in an accounting firm setting
- Knowledge of basic to intermediate tax principles
- Experience with Sage, Quickbooks, Caseware, Caseview, TaxPrep and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
