We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller/Bookkeeper to join our team and help drive our financial success.
Job Overview:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with our business goals. This role involves leading the finance team, developing financial strategies, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts. Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Manufacturing and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and best practices in financial management.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
