Accounting / Driver Payroll Specialist
All Routes Logistics Inc. is currently seeking an Accounts Payable/Driver Payroll Specialist to join our expanding team based out of Milton Ontario.
Skills Required:
· MUST have Logistics/Transportation Experience.
· Must be experienced in QuickBooks.
· Full knowledge of all Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, etc.
· Experience with Fleet Manager Software is a MUST.
· Independent problem-solving skills.
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Required Duties:
· Perform Full Cycle Bookkeeping
· Day to Day Management of Accounts A/P & A/R, perform 3 Way matching
· Accounts Payables (Process and Pay Brokerage Bills and Vendor Bills)
· Accounts Receivables (Perform weekly collection and apply payments in accounting software)
· Biweekly/Semimonthly Driver Payroll (Audit Hourly and mileage-based payroll, print cheques (80 – 100 drivers)
· Completion of toll and fuel analysis in every pay period
· WSIB (Report and pay premium, assist accountant in annual reconciliation)
· HST return Monthly & Quarterly (Gather/Assemble bank statement, A/P bills, prepare HST report and assist accountant in filing HST Return every month)
· Assist Accountant in preparing financial documents
· Maintain AR spreadsheets
· Collect on overdue accounts
· General Office duties such as filing, answering phone calls
· Receive mail/separate checks
· Provide copies of customer statements, invoices and credit notes to customers as required
· Clearing payments and entering cheques in appropriate deposit books
· Maintains filing and maintenance of documents
· Daily phone calls/emails to customers for accounts receivables, making notes, and keeping track
· All other related duties as assigned
