Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Vice President of Finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization and contributing to the development of business strategies. This role will require a deep understanding of financial services and the ability to analyze complex financial data. The Vice President of Finance will be a key member of the executive team and will play a critical role in shaping the organization's financial future.
Duties
- Oversee and manage all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's business goals.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Manage and lead a team of financial professionals, including accountants, financial analysts, and clerks.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, including business development, to identify areas of improvement and optimize financial performance.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Develop and manage budgets and financial plans.
- Identify opportunities for investment and contribute to the development of business development strategies.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of corporate finance.
- Ensure the organization's financial information is accurate and complete, and that it is presented in a clear and transparent manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a corporate finance setting.
- Strong knowledge of financial services and regulations.
- Experience with budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
