We are an accounting firm in Toronto and are searching for a full-time permanent Intermediate Accountant. This position will report directly to the Partners.
Experience with the MS Office and QuickBooks is preferred - complete understanding of bookkeeping and accounting is important. Experience with Caseware is an asset but not mandatory.
Responsibilities include preparation of year end financial statements, AJE, and corporate income tax returns for clients, as well as other client service requests including spreadsheets etc, personal income tax returns and other CRA compliance filings. You will be trained in areas that you are unfamiliar with.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Accountant is preferred.
Modified hours in the summer for Friday afternoons off, also 4 weeks of vacation/personal time per year. 1-2 days per week of remote work possible.
