Junior Accountant (Full Time) – Toronto, ON
Evanov Communications is looking for a Junior Accountant that will be working as a Revenue and Credit Specialist who will be responsible for revenue billings, accounts receivables, and collections of delinquent accounts. Reporting directly to the Senior Controller, the successful candidate will be detailed oriented with a passion for numbers, accuracy, and organization.
THE CREATION – What you’ll do (includes but not limited to)
- Invoice billing and account statements at month end
- Prepare Canadian and US bank reconciliations
- Oversee accounts receivables and cash collections processes
- Confirm sales contract approvals by manager
- Prepare monthly commission calculations and reports
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations
- Other accounting duties as assigned
THE ENERGY – Bring your vibe
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in revenue, receivables and collections
- Bachelor of Accounting/Finance or equivalent an asset
- Experience with Wide Orbit system and Great Plains is an asset
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable process and collection policies required
- General understanding of legal process to recover unpaid amounts preferred
- Attention to detail, strong time management, organization skills and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, excel and word
- Strong Communication Skills
