*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial planning, budget management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance. Work experience in Construction industry is an asset.
*Duties*
- Manage all aspects of accounting operations
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements
- Conduct account reconciliations
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Supervise payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and other relevant tools
- Perform detailed account analysis
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial analysis
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
