At Continental Mine & Industrial Supply Ltd (CMI) we collaborate to define and provide innovative solutions to our mining and industrial customers. We manufacture and distribute a broad range of equipment utilized in the industrial and mining industries.
CMI is currently seeking a full-time permanent Bookkeeper.
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in business and/or finance, or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum five years of business experience including: bookkeeping, payroll, AR/AP, month and year end duties
• QuickBooks experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency and accuracy in work product, including high attention to detail
• Self-motivated with critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to maintain confidential information
The following experience is considered an asset:
• Small business experience
• Use of customer procurement sites including SAP, Oracle, and ARIBA
Responsibilities will include:
• Payroll, AR/AP, remittances, month and year end duties
• Project costing and profit-margin analysis
• Bank deposits and reconciliation
• Filing and maintaining all financial records
• Vacation coverage for administrative positions
• Other tasks as required to meet our client and operational requirements
