Reporting to: Supervisor, Accounts Receivable
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to perform, but not be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
- Respond to customer complaints and inquiries while maintaining good customer relationships;
- Follow closely the aging of accounts and keep customers within assigned credit limits / payment terms;
- Solicits payment for overdue accounts;
- Negotiate payment transactions including contracts with Accounts Payable;
- Consult with supervisor, station managers, sales personnel, or all on complex payment discrepancies and unearned discounts. This can involve invoices for tickets, waybills, charters, ground handling, parts sales, maintenance (work orders) and training;
- Verify accuracy of contracts in cargo system and identify any questionable areas;
- Responsible for maintaining and updating computerized customer account files (Maximizer, Sage, Skyline, Customer Listing);
- Assist and be responsible for other account analysis as required;
- Performs other functions as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:
- Post Secondary Education (two years);
- Two years of previous experience;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, Maximizer, Sage 300 and Skyline software;
- Knowledge of ticketing and waybill procedures beneficial;
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and problem solve with minimum supervision;
- Possess a strong client focus, combined with excellent written and verbal communications skills;
- Proven problem solving and customer service skills;
- Ability to communicate in Inuktitut or other Indigenous language considered an asset;
- Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Pass in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
