We are experiencing continuous growth and have an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Associate position working Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in our head office in Richmond BC and Mondays and Thursdays remotely.
This position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively maintain high A/R turnover ratio
- Proactively maintain low average collection period
- Track, dispute, recover disputed items regularly. Escalate issues promptly
- Prepare and analyze periodic reports on collection activities and progress
- Prepare and analyze periodic reports on Account Receivable and other related reports
- Process customer invoices and credit notes for multiple companies and currencies
- Verify and audit pricing/discounts on customer invoices
- Process payment receipts and reconcile any discrepancies
- Assist with analysis of sales and related items when required
- Assist with other accounting duties and projects when required
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory)
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting or related field
- Previous accounting experience is an asset
- Solid understanding of accounts receivables principles
- Intermediate+ Microsoft Excel skills
- Previous experience with a Microsoft ERP system is preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving ability
- Works well to meet deadlines under pressure
- Highly organized and works well as a team
- Ability to multi-task and display an exceptional attention to detail
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude
Compensation: starting from $48,000 depending on experience
