The Property Accountant shall be responsible for paying and reconciling all approved expenditures for MRCM Corporation clients and ensuring all expenses are paid on time.
- Responsible for all regular monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting associated with a portfolio of residential condominiums
- Completion all accounting aspects for a portfolio of properties
- Responsible for closing the books and records on a monthly basis including journal entries, accruals and account analysis
- Review of detailed property budgets
- Responding to queries from Property Managers, Board of Directors and other parties
- Responsible for bank reconciliations, GST returns and journal entries
- Prepare month end closing and budgets
- Monitoring cash flow
- Financial statement preparation
- Preparation of annual year-end audit working papers and liaison with the auditors
Requirements
- A minimum of two years' experience in a property management accounting role
- The Property Accountant is to be familiar with all acts and codes governing the position
- Exceptional communication skills
- The Property Accountant is to display a professional manner in all functions of the position
