As a Dealer Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for monthly financial statement entries, report production and digital filing for selected Dealers under Home’s banking partnerships. Led by the Manager, FP&A – Dealer Finance, this opportunity will suit someone with strong communication and organizational skills, and experience in finance and accounting.
Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how:
- Prepare and maintain lending information, administer Dealer working papers for financial positions and cash flow sources for Dealers across Canada.
- Communicate and follow-up with Dealers as required relating to content of monthly reporting and outstanding reports.
- Act as a liaison between multiple internal departments, Dealers, and financial institutions to obtain financial statement information, information disclosure waivers and terms letters/credit agreements.
- Coordinate correspondence with banks (National Franchising Offices and branches) on various matters involving Dealers’ banking arrangements. Prepare quarterly and annual updates for Home’s major Dealer lenders.
- Review current processes, identify, and provide input on the design of new analysis tools to support and provide insight on Dealer-related performance.
- Assist with facilitating a 100% online, single source for Dealer finance records and information.
We’re looking for:
- College Diploma in Business or Accounting is preferred.
- One to two years’ experience within a Finance or Accounting focused role, with the ability to interpret financial statements is considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills and very proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with professional interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizational, time management skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
