**Job Overview:**
Dallmeier Accounting Professional Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple client files and reviewing the work of junior staff, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Additionally, the candidate will address client queries, resolve any issues related to financial records, and train junior staff.
**Duties:**
- Perform full cycle bookkeeping and accounting.
- Prepare adjusting and accrual journal entries as required.
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
- Prepare and reconcile HST, WSIB and EHT reports.
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll.
**Qualifications:**
Required Qualifications:
- College diploma in accounting or bookkeeping certificate.
- Five or more years’ experience in a full-cycle bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Payroll experience using an external payroll preparation service, such as Wagepoint and ADP.
- Ability to train and oversee junior staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Reliable, self-starter and ability to work independently.
