Role Overview:
Join our pioneering team of experts as a Reconciliation Analyst, a position integral to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of our high-volume transactions. Not only will you be a part of our core reconciliation team, but with dedication and prowess, there are potential avenues to evolve into a Financial Analyst within our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute weekly and monthly accounting duties; specialize in reconciling diverse AR/AP account transactions.
- Draft and provide weekly/monthly Journal Entries.
- Authenticate documentation across various input sources.
- Efficiently process, verify, and reconcile voluminous and intricate transactions.
- Organize and maintain relevant files, reports, working papers, and data documentation.
- Spot and delve into unreconciled transactions; devise effective solutions.
- Actively communicate insights on internal and external discrepancies and propose actionable solutions.
- Adapt swiftly to procedural shifts; proactively seek ways to enhance our current reconciliation processes.
- Engage in ad hoc assignments and back managers when required.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Accounting/Finance or currently pursuing one.
- Prior experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to swiftly comprehend diverse information sources utilized in accounting.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Impeccable attention to detail with a high precision rate.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Aptitude for multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting tight deadlines.
- A spirited and passionate approach to work.
- Autonomous, with a drive to work independently, and a natural self-starter.
