Overview:
The Sunnybrook Medical Services Alternative Funding Plan Association (Sunnybrook AFP) is seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator.
The Sunnybrook AFP administers funding for academic physicians at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for clinical activities and academic activities such as teaching and research. In addition, SMSAFPA also manages a research and innovation program to fund new projects to advance the impact of clinical practice.
The administrative coordinator role will be primarily done from home, however, the successful applicant must be able to work onsite for training, meetings and other activities that require in-person attendance.
Key duties of the Administrative Coordinator include:
- Planning, scheduling, attendance tracking and minute taking for meetings;
- Administrative coordination of the SMSAFPA Innovation Fund program;
- Leading the administrative process to onboard new physicians into the Sunnybrook AFP;
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Sunnybrook AFP;
- Coordination, tracking and administrative support for various projects;
- Key duties do include: human resources, project management and/or medical reception.
Skills and Qualifications:
- University Degree or College Diploma in business management or a related field;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant, Program/Administrative Coordinator role or similar role is preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience with minute taking;
- Experience in coordinating, tracking and providing administrative support for various projects;
- Adept at exercising tact and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters;
- Demonstrated attention to detail, initiative and problem-solving skills;
- Organized in approaching work tasks and able to prioritize effectively;
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment while managing multiple and conflicting priorities within deadlines;
- Solid work experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Forms and PDF software.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
