The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts receivable tasks with our customers and franchisees. He/She will play a vital role in analyzing current processes, proposing innovative ideas, and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The accounts receivable analyst needs to possess a keen problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for process improvement.
Our Accounts Receivable Analyst role has a salary range of 50K to 55K
Job Duties
based on Accounts Receivable experience
- Support our new and existing franchisees in our network with reporting and payments.
- Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of account / client using external credit risk management tools and reports.
- Process and post customer payments to the appropriate accounts.
- Identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts and effectively establish payment schedules.
- Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Conduct detailed analysis of accounts receivable processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Propose and implement innovative ideas to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency in a proactive manner.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address discrepancies in accounts and collaborate with the sales and customer service teams for prompt payment resolution.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and implement collection strategies to ensure a timely payment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customers transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status for management review.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, associate degree in accounting or related field is considered an asset.
- 2 years of experience working in a similar position
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
- Exception problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Effective communication, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective time management skills.
