Job Title: Bookkeeper

Compensation: $25 per hour
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers? Meritus Group, a growing and dynamic company in Abbotsford, is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial documentation.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in month-end and year-end closings.
- Manage payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Collaborate with the management team to support financial decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
