SiteTalent is hiring a Bookkeeper on behalf of SitePartners, who are looking for an organized and dedicated individual to join their team.
SitePartners is a specialized marketing agency built for the industrial sector. They solve business problems, build brands, and drive growth for the construction, manufacturing and resource sectors. They are a full-service marketing partner that moves organizations forward.
Right now, we’re looking for a part-time Bookkeeper to join the Site team. Reporting to the Manager of Finance & Admin, this position is great for someone who is skilled in accounting and maintaining a smooth accounts payable process. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online would be a huge asset in this role.
This position is a part time, working in person from the SitePartners HQ located in Abbotsford, BC. Working an average of 16 hours per week, there is flexibility to schedule your time within the work day so it fits into your schedule! Compensation for this role ranges from $22.00 - $28.00/hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input financial data into Quickbooks Online and maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
- Process vendor invoices and corresponding payments
- Track and categorize expenses to ensure they align with budgets
- Draft client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures
- Accurately match deposits to customer invoices and track overdue amounts
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents including GST, payroll and corporate taxes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Performing other relevant duties when needed
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years bookkeeping experience
- At least 2 years experience using QuickBooks Online
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
- Clerical proficiency and attention to detail
