Job Description
Situated near Pearson Airport in Mississauga, this privately owned company is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic individual to provide Administrative support in a small office setting across various functions, including Accounting, Operations, HR and other office tasks.
- Serve as a point of contact between clients and team members, while managing telephone communications, reception duties, and email correspondence
- Offer clerical assistance, which includes calendar management, data entry, and more.
- Review all incoming communication via phone, email and mail / courier; gather necessary background information, and direct it to the relevant staff members
- Maintain and update multiple company databases (both paper and electronic filing systems) and generate relevant information and reports for management as needed.
- Process payables, promptly and accurately investigate and resolve any discrepancies
- Reconcile expense reports, credit cards, gas card transactions, and vendor invoices.
- Work alongside the Controller to achieve collection goals and handle general Accounts Receivable responsibilities, including addressing collection issues and advising clients on A/R policies and procedures
- Undertake additional related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficient in accounting and accounts receivable processes
- Experience with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry and analysis skills
- Familiarity with account reconciliation and financial services
- Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette
- Ability to manage filing and organization of financial documents
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
