Robert Half is partnered with a growing organization in the manufacturing industry you is looking for a General Accountant to join their team. This is a full time permanent opportunity that offers a hybrid working environment. Reporting to the Controller, the General Accountant will be responsible for;
- Prepare and post journal entries and assist in the timely preparation of monthly financial statements
- Analyze and reconcile various balance sheet General Ledger accounts
- Preparation of bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Prepare Month End reports for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Support with the Year End Audit
- Ensure established procedures and guidelines are followed to accurately maintain the organization’s financial records and transactions
The skills you will bring with you:
- Minimum 2-3 years of full cycle accounting experience
- A degree or diploma in finance or accounting
- Currently in pursuit of a CPA designation is an asset
- Strong Excel skills - including proficiency with V Lookup and Pivot Tables;
- Experience with a recognized ERP platform; MS Dynamics 365
- Proven communication skills.
