We are looking for a full-time bookkeeper to join our team to provide accounting support at our head office in Toronto. ‘
Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeper at a high-growth company, you will be working closely with our controller and Chief Operating Officer, to provide the necessary support with accounting and bookkeeping. This includes critical functions to keep the company running smoothly.
• Receive and process payments, accounts receivable, accounts payable.
• Prepare and complete reconciliations of bank statements
• Maintain and update accounting records, including general ledger, payroll, bank reconciliations, client reconciliations, sales tax reconciliation, etc.
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
• 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or operations experience
• Proficiency with Excel and data-entry with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience with one or more accounting systems (e.g. Quickbooks, Xero, etc.)
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills (English) with samples of content
• A university/college/post-secondary degree is a must, recent graduates welcome
