Starward Homes (2014) Limited is currently seeking a Part Time Jr. Accountant (Mon, Wed, Thurs) to compliment their existing staff. Starward is a Land Development, Residential Home Construction and Management Company.
As a Starward Homes Accountant you will be responsible for many daily general accounting functions and be part of an accounting team to accomplish monthly financial reporting.
Some of the main duties will include:
- Multi Company monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
- Job Cost Accounting monitoring Contracts and Purchase Orders
- Various monthly A/R Billings
- Monthly reporting and account analysis for multiple companies
- Assistance with Year-end reporting for various companies
Skills required:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Job Cost Accounting related experience (construction accounting experience would be a definite asset)
- Accounting Diploma
- Computer proficient in Microsoft programs and Timberline-Sage 300 (a definite asset)
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills required, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
