About the role
Location: Work from home in Toronto, ON, Canada
Travel Expectations: Ability to travel onsite for meetings on a monthly and quarterly basis
Like WCG, you believe in the power of work. As the Accounts Payable Administrator – EO you'll be responsible for receiving, tracking and processing Employment Ontario contractor financial documentation and submissions, as well as processing timely payments to contractors, and responding to contractor inquiries. The Accounts Payable Administrator – EO you will monitor the EO Accounts inbox, ensure accurate cross-referencing of support documents, and provide field contact and filing support. You will also perform routine data entry procedures and processing of month end requirements.
You will work closely with the Finance Business Partner EO and Intermediate Accountant EO to ensure the timely and accurate management of partner financial transactions.
What you'll do

Ensure contractor operational, performance based fees, and financial support payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner

Prepare effective and relevant communication to answer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Help resolve discrepancies and other issues with both internal and external collaborators

Support the finance team and WCG with guidance on EO processes to enhance the contractor experience

Cultivate and maintains excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Provide routine data entry such as processing, coding, and posting invoices, as well as entering various journal entries

Maintain vendor accounts and helps troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise
-
Communicate with financial contractors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of payments

Assist with the preparation of quarterly reporting and prepares ad hoc reports as required

Support in the implementation and configuration of new software
Qualifications
What you bring
-
Foundation accounting courses or equivalent relevant experience

Willingness to learn and enhance skills
-
Good technical skills relating to financial software programs

Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and processing

Basic Excel knowledge
-
Experience with Microsoft Navision or Business Central is preferred
