We’re looking for a Junior Analyst, Accounts Payable!
As a Junior Analyst, you will play a key role in the administration of the organization’s accounts payable processes. This position is responsible for vendor invoice processing, account maintenance and reconciliation, preparing vendor payments, and assisting with month-end closing activities. Additional duties include supporting bank reconciliation processes, sending payment remittances, and contributing to the overall efficiency of financial operations
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month end closing activities surrounding accounts payable
- Receive, review and input vendor invoices and expense reports for payment
- Vendor account maintenance and reconciliation
- Assist in the bank reconciliation process
- Prepare files for vendor payments
- Send out payment remittances
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Post secondary diploma or degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
- 1 – 3 years of comparable experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft 365 with intermediate experience with excel
- Experience working with Business Central or PayWorks is an asset
