Job Posting: Bookkeeper
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and supporting multiple businesses. If you are experienced in QuickBooks Desktop and have a strong understanding of bookkeeping and payroll processes, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Oversee and reconcile the general ledger.
- Prepare and remit WSIB, HST, and payroll liabilities accurately and on time.
- Handle all government filings and compliance requirements.
- Administer employee benefits and related documentation.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support multiple businesses with financial management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably with multi-business management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop.
- Strong knowledge of WSIB, HST, and payroll remittances.
- Experience with benefit administration.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
