Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the accounting department, developing financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts receivable, payroll, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage the annual budgeting process, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.
- Implement and maintain accounting and ERP software systems which include Salesforce and Goldfinch.
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely processing of payroll and adherence to tax regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Managing ledgers and financial transactions for both US and Canadian entities.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software is essential. Knowledge of Salesforce is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of account analysis techniques and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in budgeting processes and payroll management is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account reconciliation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members across various departments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of US accounting is beneficial.
