Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bookkeeper at Accounting Avenue in Edmonton, AB. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. They will also assist with payroll and support the team with various accounting tasks. They may also have to help in office administration occasionally.
Qualifications
- Financial Statements and Bookkeeping skills
- Experience with QuickBooks and Profile
- Knowledge of Finance principles
- Ability to make Journal Entries (Accounting)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Office programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in English is required
- The ability to communicate in Punjabi or Hindi would be an asset
- A diploma or degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
- Past work experience in related fields would be an asset
