Accounting and Payroll Administration Instructor

We are seeking an individual with a flexible schedule who can be available to assign lessons and provide support to students when necessary; and mark students' work, and respond to students' questions within a reasonable time.
Summit College has continuous intakes, and the demands/hours of this role will vary depending on enrollment. On average, this is a remote position requiring 1-5 hours per week (0 hours if there are no students’ enrolled in the program).
Position Description:
· Prepare, administer, and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress.
· Inform students of program evaluation guidelines.
· Provide individualized tutorial/remedial instruction.
· Adjust instruction techniques to meet the needs of students.
· Keep accurate and complete records of student performance.
· Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
Meet the instructor qualification standards as outlined in the regulations of the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005:
· Provide two letters of reference not related to the applicant, attesting to the work experience in accounting and payroll administration.
· Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and payroll administration, AND a Bachelor’s degree or College diploma from a Canadian university or equivalent degree.
