We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Payroll sales associate to join our team. This role involves generating revenue by promoting and selling managed and self-service payroll services, HR solutions, and other related offerings to small and medium-sized businesses. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of SaaS sales strategies, and the ability to build relationships with clients and partners. Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the market demand & identify potential clients through research, networking, and referrals.
- Pitch to the right target group to sell managed and self-service payroll services, including HR solutions, workers' compensation, time & attendance systems, and employee benefits.
- Reach out to potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person canvassing.
- Identify opportunities through marketing campaigns, networking, and prospecting activities in collaboration with the internal marketing team.
- Build and maintain relationships with key referral sources such as stakeholders, banks, and financial advisors to build a sustainable lead generation system.
- Meet sales targets and deadlines by providing tailored managed and self-service payroll services to businesses.
- Conduct sales pitches and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our managed and self-service payroll services.
- Provide initial training to new clients to ensure seamless onboarding and service adoption.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales data within the CRM system for ongoing prospecting and follow-ups.
- Always update clients with the latest company developments, updates, and new services.
- Attend trade shows, conventions, and networking events as needed to promote managed and self-service payroll services.
- Handle the entire process, including highlighting service features, providing pricing quotes, and preparing sales contracts for both new and existing customers.
- Cross-sell various payroll services and HR solutions to existing clients, helping them access additional services that benefit their business operations.
- Active Participation in the implementation of the company’s marketing plans and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within payroll, HR solutions, or any SaaS products
- Strong ability to prospect new clients and manage relationships with referral partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong consultative sales approach.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and hit sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and maintaining detailed prospecting and sales records.
- Willingness to travel for business development purposes (e.g., trade shows, networking events).

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00 per year + sales commission
Schedule: 8-hour shift (Monday to Friday)
Experience: Payroll Service Sales / SaaS Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
