POSITION TITLE: Banking Administrator, Accounting
This role provides accounting support to the management team of the department. This successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and completing administrative tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Please note this role requires 5 days in office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Banking tasks such as new account set ups and processing payments
- Recording journal entries and preparing bank reconciliations
- Recording cash receipt and preparing bank deposits
- Assist the accounting department management as needed
- Office administration including stocking supplies, managing couriers and mail
- Completing other special projects as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1-2 years of administrative experience in an office setting
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization skills and with an eye for detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting, bank reconciliations
- Knowledge of office administration duties
- Good business judgment and the ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize without frequent direction
- Resourceful; able to solve problems and work independently.
- Team player who is willing to take initiative and assist others when the need arises
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
