We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our client's dynamic finance team as an Accounting Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable functions
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports
- Assist with payroll processing and data entry
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Provide support to the accounting team
- Prepare and process expense reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, PCP certification is an asset
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or general accounting
- Experience in payroll and benefits administration
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with ERP systems
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
