As the Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day processing, production, and reconciliation of payroll activities and the benefits plan. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and employment standards, with the ability to work well independently! Main responsibilities include:
- Process payroll, time, absence and related remittances for bi-weekly pay period
- Process all year-end payroll activities including salary increases, T4’s, pension adjustments and journal entries
- Provide payroll analysis and reconciliations
- Administer benefits and perform reconciliations
- Assist with financial audits and ad hoc requests

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in accounting/payroll preferred
- Minimum 4+ years of progressive payroll experience
- Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and employment standards
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent communication skills
Definite Assets:
- PCP designation
- Workday ERP system experience
- Pension and/or benefits experience
