GRIT Engineering Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Invoicing and Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's invoicing processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in invoicing, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification
Experience in the engineering or construction industry.

Pay: $17.97-$27.79 per hour
