124 On Queen Hotel & Spa. is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join us at our head office in Niagara.
Overview
The Accounting Clerk position provides exposure to a wide variety of tasks including accounting, administration, and human resource functions. This is a supporting role with an opportunity to develop skills on all aspects on the business.
Basic Functions
- Enter payable invoices in Quickbooks.
- Prepare intercompany invoices for services and support.
- Support the payroll processing function.
- Process expense reports and petty cash reimbursements.
- Support the Bookkeeping function for a small, related group of companies.
- Account and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain HR records and documents for Employee Benefits and Pension Plan.
- Order office supplies.
- Filing invoices and other documents.
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent accounting experience.
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Office software.
- Experience with Quickbooks would be considered an asset
- Diploma in Accounting, related field, or equivalent work experience
- Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
