Duties
Prepare and maintain financial records
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions
Responsible for filing of GST, PST, Payroll Tax, Corporation, and all tax management
Prepare and process T4 forms
Manage account receivables and payables
Manage credit cards and ensure statements are reconciled and transactions accounted
Make wage subsidy claims from Work BC.
Response to staff issue from WorkSafe BC.
Prepare ROE for exited staff
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision-making purposes
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
Work Experience
5-year accounting and financial statements reporting experience
Experience in a retail business will be an added advance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.26-$25.60 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
