HDP Network Solutions is looking for a full-time Accounting Technician.
The Accounting Technician is responsible for providing support in managing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial reports, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Maintenance:
- Process and record financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Monitor budgets and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Compliance and Auditing:
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, tax laws, and organizational policies.
- Support the implementation of internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
- Accounts Management:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections.
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Handle payroll processing and related tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and resolve any accounting-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to address financial queries.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or software.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and accounting standards.
- Other duties:
- Criminal records & credit check for successful applicant
- Assist other departments, as applicable

Qualifications:
- Education:
- An Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Experience with accounting software QuickBooks Online is required.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills is required
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
