Role Description
As an Accountant at Nanz Pharma, you will ensure accurate financial operations by managing daily accounting tasks, preparing detailed financial reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting. Your role includes ensuring regulatory compliance, facilitating audits, and providing insightful financial analysis. Proficiency in accounting software, meticulous recordkeeping, and effective communication will be crucial in supporting the company's financial health and operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records by overseeing and managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Ensure that reports are accurate and comply with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor financial performance against the budget and report on variances.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting principles. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Audit Preparation: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Prepare audit schedules and address audit queries.
- Software Management: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and analyze financial data.
- Transaction Processing: Process and review financial transactions, including invoices, expense reports, and payments. Ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and financial discrepancies. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Communication: Communicate financial information and insights effectively to management and other departments. Provide financial guidance and support as needed.
- Other Duties: Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Diploma in Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
